Hi Y’all! Allow me to introduce myself,
My name is Tatum Lynn Clark. I am a Pittsburgh, Pa native who is a recent graduate at Point Park University in the undergraduate program in the criminal justice department. I am also currently in my masters program for Organizational Leadership with a focus on diversity inclusion in the business department. So you might be asking yourself “Why is this girl in a communication class?” Well the simple answer is that I really wanted to go to BARCELONA, SPAIN! I love traveling ( It’s honestly what I do best) My first trip out the country was in high school to visit Italy! Ever since then I’ve never hesitated to visit some place new. I’ve been bless to visit Italy, Aruba, Mexico, Jamaica and many other beautiful country’s, As well as more to come in the near future. I can’t wait to add Barcelona, Spain to my list of traveled destination’s. I mean why wouldn’t I take up the opportunity to become a real life Cheetah Girl who can slay her own dragons.
I am also very interested to learn more about the communication field and would love to learn how people of color in Barcelona, Spain use social media, Entertainment, Texting apps and other forms of communication to connect with one another in spaces where they can relay their experiences in safe spaces on being a person of color. For example in America we have Black Twitter where we can discuss being black in America, Shared and different experiences and use AAVE (African American Vernacular English) dialect comfortably. A few personal details about me, I love fashion, So much so that I started a small high heel line called Mutat.Couture. I love dancing to all kinds of music, Cooking up new recipes, Exploring new sites and fashion trends, And so much more! I’m so excited to be on this journey and for you all to come along with me. .
