Today we took an excursion to Sitges. On our way, we stopped at a local business where they showed us their facilities and talked about the history. After the tour they let us try some small samples which included some meats, cheeses, and desserts.

Once the tour was over we moved on to Sitges which is a little beach town. We took a tour starting on the boardwalk, heading into the new section of the town, then ending in the older historical part of the town. The guide pointed out some notable shops and places to eat along the way.

The older part of the town was really interesting for me as it had some older more interesting architecture. After the tour, we had about 2 hours to explore on our own. I spent my time wandering through the streets and neighborhood taking some photographs.

I found a lot of interesting spots and really got to see what was off the main beaten path. There was also a music festival getting set up with some food vendors. I picked up some pad thai and hung out on the rocks by the ocean until we had to head back.

Arriving back in Barcelona we stopped back out at a skateboard bar called Nevermind. You could hang out and drink in the bowl. I also found a local record shop and spoke a bit with the owner. He is a DJ and most of the music is techno, but he also has a section of clothes that local artists designed which I thought was really interesting.

That little area is the same area as the skateboarding shop. It seems like that is the alternative, artsy area and I really like hanging out there. And that’s about it.
