Day two here we gooooo!!! I had so much fun today, it was truly so relaxing. I Ioved getting to go out sailing and listening to the people play the sax and the guitar make it even more relaxing. I woke up at 2:30pm today because I definitely needed to get some rest and then had to shower and go straight to the boat, so I didn’t get to eat lunch today. But, it was worth it because I got to sleep in and then the boat was worth being a little hungry.
I will say that my boot was like digging into my shin today so I’m very glad I got to take it off on the boat and just chillax. The nets on boat were super cool, and I really did love to get to lay over top of the water. It did get a little cold at times but that’s just because we were literally at the front of the boat. The jazz was super cool and I think my favorite part was when the saxophone guy started to play the harmonica. I used to have a harmonica and getting to see someone actually play it well was really cool.
I also thought it was super fun getting fun silly pictures with Joey and Gavin, I’m excited to send them on over for my momma to see! If I were to relate this to my major I’d say it allowed me to relax and just experience something different. As an actor I’m constantly trying to portray things and live authentically in imaginative circumstances. So getting to experience new things is amazing for me because it allows me to learn and utilize it in my craft. So getting lay there and feel the breeze, see the sail move with the wind, listen to other people and also experience art was truly an incredible experience.
