Hi Everyone,

Today we had a long day and saw two must-stop places when in Barcelona! We visited La Sagrada Familia and Park Guell. Both visits were a lot of fun and were amazing to be at! The weather was also super nice for both visits and while we were in Park Guell the temperatures were perfect.

Starting off our day at La Sagrada Familia, it truly was a wonder to be at! The whole place is so beautiful and it’s amazing to learn all of the history that the church has. The attention to detail is remarkable and you could spend all day just going around and analyzing everything. The stained glass windows were beautiful and when the light hit them it cast this beautiful rainbow glow into the air! I loved visiting this place and while I’m not a religious person, could totally feel the Holy vibe running through the church. I’m so glad we got to go today and I hope to go again once it’s finished in however many years that may be.

After La Sagrada Familia, we drove to Park Guell which felt like being transported into another world! The park is a gem and has so much character! The views were stunning but I really liked learning about the history of the park and all of the different elements. My favorite thing we learned was about the unbuilt church and that it was meant to be at the highest peak to be as close to Heaven as possible, but also as a “physical sacrifice” to those who tried to go to the church. It didn’t end up being built but I thought that was a cool fun fact.

Overall, it was a fun day with a lot of history. I liked learning about the history overall and I’m glad we got to visit these places! I’ll never forget this day!

Always,

Hannah
