I would say my favorite trip thus far would definitely be this one. For starters, Segarda Familia. It took me a moment to find the words for how I felt while I was there. I was just so moved and everything just sat so right with my heart and spirit. I am religious, so for me this was beautiful. I was so fascinated to see everything that was made by man. It just goes to show how incredible human beings are. I was also in awe by all of the statues and their meaning. As our tour guide said, everything in the Segarda Familia had a meaning. Seeing Jesus on the cross and seeing how everyone mourned him on his last days through the sculptures was just something that I can’t even explain. It moved my spirit and I am so thankful for having the opportunity to experience it.
Park Guell was also such an amazing experience! I found it so interesting to see where Gaudi lived and enjoyed hearing the backstory of what Park Guell was meant to be. Gaudi’s work and visions were outstanding. My favorite part of the park was where the colorful benches were. I’ve actually been waiting to see it for a very long time, so I was very excited to snap a few cool photos there as well. Sabrina and Sophia adopted a baby and then gave it away so that was also interesting to see. All in all, today was everything and more, I’m extremely grateful.
