I am so happy and overjoyed that we had 2 free days in a row because a few of us were able to take a flight to an island off the coast of Spain called Mallorca! I was a little bit nervous because I had never booked a flight for myself in my life but as I sit here in the airport on the way back I think I could say this has been a successful mission!
It was quite possibly the shortest flight I have ever taken in my life (literally, wheels up and wheels down boom we were there.)
We were able to have an early check in which was nice because I needed a few breaks from the hot sun.
After much discussion between the group of what the “vibe” of the place we were staying was, I came to the conclusion it reminded me of white lotus. I don’t know, I just felt a very interesting somewhat eerie energy from the place. It was almost like more of a beach down version of Miami.
The beach was lovely after a bit of rain even though the water was too cold for swimming. I am coming back with a nice little tan. This is huge for me thanks to the Mediterranean sun for being on my side. I am very proud of my friends and I for making this happen and overjoyed about how cheap traveling there was! I wish America had flights with prices I would take so many.
