Barcelona, without a doubt, was an extraordinary and unforgettable experience that left an indelible mark on my 21 years of life. It offered me a unique opportunity to immerse myself in a vibrant culture that I had never encountered before, and it was truly awe-inspiring. One of the highlights of the trip was our visit to Media Pro, where we gained valuable insights into the world of business and media in Spain. This firsthand experience allowed me to appreciate the intricacies and nuances of the industry in a global context.

Moreover, the tours we embarked on to Sitges, Madrid, Girona and the iconic Sagrada Familia were nothing short of magnificent. The architectural wonders I witnessed surpassed anything I had ever seen before. The Sagrada Familia, in particular, left me in awe of its grandeur and ingenuity. The sheer magnitude of its design and attention to detail was a testament to human creativity and vision.

Barcelona also tantalized my taste buds with its diverse and delectable cuisine. I had the pleasure of savoring a plethora of flavors, textures, and portion sizes that were truly exceptional. Each dish was a gastronomic adventure, and I relished the opportunity to explore the rich culinary traditions of Spain.

Throughout the trip, our guest lecturers provided invaluable insights into the business practices and cultural nuances of Spain. Their informative talks deepened my understanding of the local business landscape and broadened my perspective on international commerce.

Beyond the academic and culinary experiences, Barcelona’s sights were simply out of this world. From breathtaking panoramic views to charming cobblestone streets, the city captivated my senses and ignited a desire for exploration. I even had the chance to learn how to cook authentic Spanish cuisine, further immersing myself in the local culture.

Some of my flatmates and I were fortunate enough to experience European soccer, better known as futbol! FC Barcelona (the local favorite) had just recently won the La Liga championship! We were fortunate enough to experience a championship parade right outside of our apartment! We also managed to grab tickets to a home game of theirs! I was told numerous times to make sure I caught a game while I was there, and I’m glad I did. Watching sports back in the states compared to in Europe are two completely different animals! The futbol match was one of my favorite part of the trips and I am eternally grateful I managed to get an experience like that!

Lastly, the trip introduced me to the unexpected sport of people stacking, a peculiar and fascinating activity that showcased the creativity and humor of the locals. This lighthearted experience served as a reminder of the joy and camaraderie that can be found in the simplest of things.

Overall, this journey to Barcelona stands as one of the most enriching and transformative experiences of my life. I am immensely grateful for the opportunity to have witnessed and learned so much in such a short span of time. It has left an indelible impression on my heart and has further ignited my passion for exploration, cultural understanding, and personal growth.
