Oh Sitges.. where do I even begin 😅. This trip took so many twists and turns, but in the end I don’t regret any of it. When first arriving to Sitges, I was stunned by the amazing views and clear blue waters. The boutiques were so cute and there were plenty of food choices! Gelato, pizza, pasta, they had it all. A few of the girls and I decided to stay in Sitges, or so we thought. We found out that our AirBnb was actually twenty minutes away in this beach town called Calafell. Even though it was twenty minutes away, we figured we could just get there easily by train. We were wrong.
The train from Sitges to Calafell was late by thirty minutes. Mind you, we had to get off a stop early before arriving to pick up our AirBnb keys from the host. Once we got off the train for that first stop, we had to wait an additional thirty minutes for the next train since it was late once again. The other girls that were meeting us at the AirBnb also had train troubles. They were actually kicked off of their train due to an electrical fire 🙂.
Getting to Calafell was an absolute disaster, but in the end it all worked out. Once we all arrived in one piece, we went out for dinner and decided to make a few grown up decisions. We talked, we laughed, we fell in the sand, and the rest was history. To honor the rest of our pact, whatever happens in Calafell, stays in Calafell. A trip to remember forever (:
