Media Pro was like any media person dream. Sadly, I’m not a media guy. Instead I’m an arts guy, however I would still consider what Media Pro is doing art! Not to mention I want to act in films and television so getting to step foot in front of their green screen was truly an amazing experience. Walking onto that soundstage was just incredible. I have never been in such a large soundstage before. In all honesty I’ve probably ever only been on like one or two, and they were no where near that size. Getting to see myself on the monitor and see the digital rendering behind me was so incredibly cool. It was also super cool to see how intricate they could make the digital image/video behind you. The one that they used that was a snowy church was so cool, especially because they could move the camera and you could see even more landscape.
I also very much enjoyed the Radio Primavera visit. Again, I’m no journalist or media person but getting to hear about how all these people are coming to one place In Spain to share their art was just incredible to hear. I also found it so interesting that they do live shows and also started out doing that. I would never have thought that that would be a hit, and low and behold it is! I would love to be able to sit in on one of those sometime and see what it’s like. Something the lecturer said that stuck with me is that “There is no directions, it’s hard to figure out even now!” I loved this because it honestly gave me reassurance in my own field. Even the professionals don’t always know what their doing, and yet here they are putting on an incredible music festival. It was truly inspiring!
