I’m Sophia and this is my blog post!
I was born and raised in Chicago with my three siblings, but moved to Pittsburgh for college two days after my 18th birthday. I am currently attending Point Park as a B.F.A. dance major with a concentration in modern and a business management minor, and I am dually enrolled to get my master’s in primary education. I grew up spending most of my summers in northern Wisconsin where we boat, fish, water ski – just spending as much time on the lake as possible.
I have traveled quite a bit within the U.S., but I have never traveled internationally. 
I am super eager to be immersed in a new culture while experiencing their food, music, and just day-to-day lifestyles. I have always wanted to travel to Europe in particular because it is just a capsule of different cultures all within just hours of each other. Having the chance to see Spain and everything it encompasses truly does feel like a dream come true and I want to take advantage of every second I have there!
Preparing for this trip, I have been doing a lot of scrolling on YouTube. This is my favorite video I have found, taking a tour through Spain this month. Given that we will be there in less than a month from now, this video gives a sneak peak at what’s in store starting May 2nd!
