This day was absolutely a 10/10! Minus being sleep deprived, I would also consider this one of my favorite visits. The moment I stepped foot in Girona, I loved it. The rivers, the bridges, the greenery, literally everything was so beautiful. Girona gave off a completely different vibe than the other places we visited. It wasn’t anything like Barcelona to me, nor was it city-like like Madrid. Girona sort of reminded of Italy. The architecture and everything was just so similar. I really enjoyed our walking tour and took the time to appreciate all of the stone we were seeing. It’s not something that’s too common back in America. For lunch, we of course went to another pizza place. It wasn’t all that bad, maybe just a tad overpriced in my opinion. The boutiques in Girona were also very nice and had pretty cool bookstores. During our time there, we all celebrated Erin’s birthday with Gelato (how could you go wrong)! It was such a fun time, I would’ve loved to spend the entire day there.
They Dali Museum was also pretty cool. It wasn’t exactly how I expected it to be, but I still had fun. There were tons of naked people all around so that was pretty interesting. I enjoyed looking at the abstract work of his and also found it fascinating how it was raining inside of the convertible. I’ve never seen anything like that before. I loved the overall aesthetic of the museum—
the dark rooms, red walls, it was modern yet very vintage looking. All in all, I got to see some amazing artwork which made this day a 10/10.
