Eat My Trip!

In America, Brunch time is a very essential meal time ( especially on weekends) specialty pancakes, French toast, and who can forget the bubbly mimosa on the side that completes it all. Can it get any better than that! Well here in Barcelona, The natives take long lunch breaks for about three hours which means brunch falls into this time frame! If you’re looking for a cool fun brunch spot in Barcelona I recently checked out a spot called Eat My Trip and I really enjoyed myself, the service and the food.

One of Eat My Trip’s highlighted dishes is a huge pink cotton candy blown up on top of a stack of pancakes and whatever other side dishes you wish to have with it. Very aesthetically pleasing! The restaurant also will put a cotton candy on top of a strawberry cream cheese french toast plus sides. I, however, Did not order this. I am not big on sweets. Yet, Barcelona will test you on this with its many fresh bakery pastries shops that surround you in the city.  I ordered Canadian maple walnut pancakes ( about three small/medium pancakes) with an order of breakfast potatoes on the side and one fried egg on top. ( Poach eggs are another popular food dish here in Spain, I am just more of a fried egg girl.)

In other news!I recently just went food shopping at a grocery store ( Better late than never) . I got some vegetables, raw fresh chicken, pasta noodles, two fresh pizzas, pineapple, a few seasonings, and different types of cheeses in an attempt to make some dishes. Just today I made some barbecue chicken that I put on the skillet with mushrooms, onions, chopped cheese, green onions, curry seasoning, hot sauce and barbecue sauce.
