Morning,
Lecture by Benjamin Cunningham 1030am-12pm
Had to be up and ready by 1030 am. I bought a lemon muffin from Starbucks and took it with me to the lecture ended up eating it after.Benjamin is from the states grew up in Michigan and is a journalist. Went to the University of Amsterdam to study more in Europe. He currently teaches international journalism. He has a book called the liar: how a double agent in the CIA became the cold wars last honest man. Took 8-10 months to write. He finishes his PHD in the fall and has a wife and daughter.

We took the metro to get there. Everyone met outside the building and we were led in to meet someone to take a tour of the place. We went into studio 2 that had a green screen background. The background moves and changes virtual reality. It has camera tracking that sends information to to the engine. The moving is virtual and real time camera in real time. The green screen and the blue screen is 360 degrees. We then went into studio 3. this room is for live tv mostly for football. Their company produces the most football in the world. Their company has some competitors not many and many rewards. After explanation of what they do more we went upstairs to the master control room. the room is linked to all stadiums. the room splits into 2 rows. the 1st row manages net. The left side of the room manages signals in buildings from signals from stadiums. the right side of the room supervises network. After words we walked through the break room and got to go to the rooftop to see the view. The view was breathtaking for sure. I took a video of Tatum for my montage. I also took picture of the view and of Erin and Shannon and they took pictures of me. On the way up we had to take the steps then the elevator on the way down we split into 2 groups and my group only had to take an elevator down. After we thanked the tour person and left.
After the tour,
I talked to Tatum and we were going to look for ice cream but it was too far so we followed everyone back to the apartments. Erin and I left together todo a bit of shopping. We found this cute store called Fruits Secs Parami that had chocolates and different foods. It looked like they made there own sweets. We left and continued on. We went to the market Veritas that had the tapas cooking class to pick up some groceries. I got feta, strawberries, and cheese. Afterwords on our way back Erin and I stopped in this cookie and treats store called Demasie. We split four cookies and got oreo, kinder, red velvet, and a white chocolate. Got some pizza went to the apartment.
Night came,
I looked up things todo for the night. I found a place called the Gatsby. It was a dinner and a show. So Tatum, Shannon, Erin, Baylee and I got dressed and went. We took 2 taxis there. We got there for a reservation at 1030pm. it was quit expensive and fancy. We ended up seeing 2 shows and leaving because apparently you had to pay $70 a person for just the show! So we asked and left. Baylee started walking us back to the apartment witch was a 35min walk. I ended up switching shoes with Shannon. Baylee left to go back to the apartment and Tatum, Shannon, Erin, and I found a cute place called the titanic to eat and drink at. The potato’s were amazing. We left and went to the apartment and that was the night.
