One of the excursions I was most looking forward to was Catamaran Sailing on the Mediterranean Sea. Our group met up on the street in Las Ramblas, and took a short walk down to the coast to catch our boat. The port area was full of restaurants with many people sightseeing and lots of shopping. The boat we rode on was massive, and had several nets in the front of the boat where we could lay out, take in the sun and enjoy our ride.
It was pretty windy, the skies were blue, and the live music on the boat made this experience so relaxing! After drifting out to sea, away from the lively coast, they released the giant sail, and we took off for our two hour ride.
Our trip was so relaxing and beautiful we wanted to stay out there all day! At the end, we thanked the awesome band and said goodbye to our boat. Luckily no one was seasick, and we walked home through the bustling port area.
