On May 6th we had to wake up early in the morning to head to the local business for a walking tour. Our bus left at 9:15 am and it took us about an hour to get to the business. Once we got there, we were greeted by our guide named Albert. He had us walk along the vineyard and told us all the interesting facts about making wine. Fun fact, the way the vineyard is set up acts as a natural compost for when the leaves start to fall off. He then explained the differences to us about why you should pick the grapes instead of using the machine. If you use the machine, you are more likely to bruise the grape. When you pick them, you have a least likely chance of bruising the grapes. We then went inside where they bottled the wine and I had the chance to buy my own wine.

Once we left the buisness, we went to Sitges. Sitges is a beautiful coastal city with lots of history behind it. When I was exploring Sitges on my free time there it definitely felt like a tourist attraction city. From what I have gathered there wasn’t really any local owned shops but it was more souvenir shops. It is very much a party city with the music fest they were planning that night. We had the option to stay in Sitges but I decided not to because I wanted to explore Barcelona more.
