Hi friends! My name is Katie Moffatt and I am a junior Dance major with a concentration in Jazz at Point Park University. I am originally from Paso Robles, California, a small town on the central coast of California.
I transferred to Point Park in August of 2021 and have loved living in Pittsburgh and experiencing life on the other side of the country.
I have always loved traveling and seeing new parts of the world, whether in the United States or abroad. Although this class does not necessarily align with what I am studying in school, I thought it would be a great opportunity to learn something new and see a new part of the world.
One thing I am most excited about is immersing myself in the Spanish culture throughout the three weeks we will be in Spain.
When researching for my travels this summer I came across this video and will definitely be checking out some of these festivals during our time in Barcelona.
