Morning,

Got ready and everyone left together for Sagrada Familia & Park Guell. We had to be there at 2pm. We took the metro to Sagrada Familia. Got there and found the others. Of course the boys got lost and were a couple minutes late. The boys arrived and we walked to the entrance. Met the tour guide and went in line. Let me tell you this church was breath taking. The tour guide explained about everything inside. Before we went inside theres a model of the church and it showed what still needed to be done and what was done. The church will be finished they believe by 2032. The church is made with sandstone and other stones. There are three entrances, The Portal of Hope dedicated to Joseph on the left, The Portal of Faith dedicated to Virgin Mary on the right, and The Portal of Charity dedicated to Jesus in the middle. The inspiration for the church is gothic. There are a couple turtles on the bottom of the pillars one is a sea turtle another is a land tortoise they have round shells symbolizing the stability of the cosmos. The church on Sunday’s is free to visit for mass but people start to line up at 7am even though mass is at 9am. Other days you have to pay to see the inside. inside there is stained glass for all the beautiful colors and only 4 sculptures inside. They mark the four ends of the cross. By the Passion door you can see the three figures that represent the holy family. There was a house where the architect Antoni Gaudi worked he had a school house built as well for the children of the workers to go to school at. Antoni Gaudi tomb is at the church I could not go see it cause they were having mass. We finished our tour and walked to the bus for Park Guell.

Park Guell,

We arrived at the Park. I was hungry and bought a container of Pringles. If you want to see the you have to also pay to go see it. Inside the tour guide had us we walk up and down seeing all the architecture done. Built with the stones around. Its a huge garden. Only 2 houses were built in the park. The Casa Larrard for Eusebi Guell and the watch house bought by Gaudi. To see the inside you had to pay sadly so we did not see the inside of the houses. The Guell family house was converted into a school and used to this day. The one part has leftover pieces used to make benches and the view overlooked Barcelona. The one piece on the wall the tour guide pointed out looked like the Pringles logo. On our walk was circle boulders representing rosary beads. Everyone was laugghing and saying thats how Target got their red circle boulder idea from. There is a fountain with a dragon statue that has water come out of it before you exit the park. On our way out someone left a doll and so Sophia gave the doll to the security guard. Wr walked back up to were we started saw an artist performing and left the park.

Back at the apartment I was talking to Tatum about dinner she had to wait for a package so I asked Erin if i could join for dinner. Talked to Baylee and so Shannon, Baylee, Tia, Hannah, Erin and I went and got pasta at Macchina Pasta Bar.
