How did you first start getting into collecting vinyl records?

Someone gave me a vinyl years ago and its more fun than any other media.
 

What was the first record you ever owned?

My first record was an Ozzy Osbourne record.
 

How many records do you have in your collection?

I have almost 200 records.

What genres do you collect?

Metal, classic rock, hip hop, progressive metal, deathcore, hardcore, soundtracks, psych rock.

Why do you love collecting vinyl records?

It’s The best media bc it’s a physical object and sounds good.

What is the most recent record you got for your collection?

Issues, the Dillinger, Escape Plan, and Thy Art Is Murder.

Where is your go-to place to look for records in Pittsburgh? And Why?

Usually the exchange because it’s the only thing remotely close too me.

What is your all time favorite record you have in your collection?

Probably my copy of In Through The Out Door or With Roots Above and Branches Below.

What is that one record you really want, but don't have yet?

There’s so many I want lol but probably Second Stage Turbine Blade or Year of the Black Rainbow by Coheed and Cambria

Why Vinyl and not CDs or digital?

Because vinyl has a lot more to offer than other mediums, but I also collect CDs too!

If you could recommend any album, what would it be?

The Real Thing by Faith No More, anything by Coheed or Between the Buried and Me.
