The Big Idea Bookstore is an antiprofit bookstore in Bloomfield focused on anarchist literature. The shop opened in 2001 and has provided readers with books featuring anticapitalist, nonbinary, antioppressive, and intersectional values. They even have other merchandise for sale promoting the same ideas.

The Big Idea Bookstore normally has a cafe that features different beverages and treats but due to COVID-19 the cafe has been shut down till it’s safer. Still, there is plenty to find in this tiny store whether you’re looking for new or used novels.
