Madrid… more like MIDrid.<\/p>\n
But seriously, I was not a huge fan of the city of Madrid. There was a lot that I liked, but as a city as a whole I wasn’t crazy about it. I absolutely love Barcelona – it is an amazing city bursting with culture. On top of that, there’s some amazing skateboarding.<\/p>\n
Madrid lacked all of the things that made Barcelona so amazing. That isn’t to say that it wasn’t a good time – the walking tour was very informative and the Prado museum was AMAZING.<\/p>\n
Seriously, our guide at the Prado museum was next level. He knew his stuff and I was really impressed. That being said, he was a very passionate guide, and at times got very in your face, which was odd. I chalked that up to cultural differences.<\/p>\n
I have a cousin who lives in Madrid, and I was hoping to see her, but unfortunately I was unable to. That being said I was able to track down a copy of The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, which is probably going to win Game of the Year but I am not far in enough to say if it deserves that title or not. It probably does, but I haven’t had enough time to play it on account of being in a foreign country for an extended period of time.<\/p>\n
We also popped into a retro games store, which was very cool to see. The shop was well preserved and the collection was immaculate.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
