Hi friends! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

My first day started with the usual\u2026being late. I am glad I didn’t hold everyone up for long, but this, unfortunately, is going to be the least of my worries. The night before, I came up with a brilliant idea! That if I stayed up all night\u2026I would be tired enough to sleep through not one but both flights. Now, in retrospect, I can say this was a decent idea. I was able to SLEEP through both flights but\u2026I didn’t account for the 5-hour layover in Charlotte. Those 5 hours, I swear\u2026could’ve been the end for me. It had me feeling like I was getting jumped outside gate D19. And the worst part? I didn’t even use the time productively. I ended up doom-scrolling through Instagram Reels for 5 hours and ate an overpriced Shake Shack burger (still good though).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

part2- brazen head experience<\/strong><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fish and chips was my most anticipated food I wanted to try when traveling here. So in my head, when I saw it on the menu during our welcome dinner, my mind was already made despite our ACTUAL IRELAND COORDINATOR (Sean) telling me to get the beef stew. He said leave the fish and chips for Howth, but of course, my ego said otherwise. Now when they came out with beef stew\u2026tears came down my face. It was a sight for sore eyes and I couldn’t have it. To make it worse, everyone got their food before me, so I had to sit in horror as they enjoyed every bite. Then my lousy ugly little fish and chips came out, and I was gagged. I pretended to love it, to try and make them feel bad for not getting it, but they saw right through me. Obviously, I didn’t learn from my mistakes as this happened again\u2026as I was the only one at my table to get a brownie instead of apple crumble and I had to relive the whole experience all over again. \ud83d\udc94 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Would I recommend staying up for 24 hours before you have to take a long flight? No.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Would I recommend fish and chips over beef stew? No.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lastly, would I recommend a brownie or apple crumble? HELL no. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To summarize, maybe it is best to not take advice from me. \ud83d\ude1e <\/p>\n\n\n\n
