Hi! My name is Melanie Scarpato and I am a photography major here at Point Park. I have always had an interest in traveling all around the world, especially Europe, as I got older. Once I found out that I had the opportunity to travel out of the county to Ireland through school, I knew I had to jump onto my first chance I have gotten to start checking off my bucket list. Being in the arts world, all I could think of at first is all the photo opportunities I was about to get while being abroad. After learning about the different media and history of Ireland, it only made me more excited for the trip. I am also excited to share this experience with my girlfriend who is also going on the trip as well. We always talk about traveling together, and Ireland being a spot we have both been very interested in going. I am super excited to get to Ireland and explore!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
