But when we entered the

Guinness Storehouse I was thankfully proven wrong. When we first entered, it looked

like a museum exhibit showing props of the ingredients used to make Guinness, like the

wheat fields, grains, and other ingredients. The Guinness storehouse even had

something similar to the Epic museum that I also got a chance to go to. They had these

tablets that would tell us fun facts about Guinness, like how Guinness isn’t black it’s

actually a ruby red due to the roasting of the barley., that ten million bottles are sold

daily because an incredible amount are sold worldwide, and how the Guinness book of

world records were created to settle pub arguments, and many more. My favorite part of

the trip in the storehouse was the taste test area where we would be given a shot of

Guinness and even learned how to drink them. First we must take a big gulp of

Guinness, hold it in, then exhale out of our nose and swallow. Now when I did it it didn’t

really taste any different then it usually does but it was pretty interesting that there was

a specific way to drink a beer. After we had gotten done with the taste test we got to see

statues of the old Guinness mascot and old Guinness bottles. The thing that stood out

to me was the arrangement of lights that made a show that looked exactly like the

Guinness harp. Then at the end of the tour we got to finally get to drink a free pint of

Guinness which when we got done drinking we could finally leave.

When we first went to the Guinness storeHouse, I originally thought that it wasn’t going to be anything special I had thought that they would have just shown us through…

[27

post-1981","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-ireland
["GET
https://pointparksocstudent.com/Internationalmedia/Ireland2025/wp-json/wp/v2/posts/1981/revisions/1982
