Another full day bus tour in the books! This tour we did was through a different tour company called Belfast Tour Company. My personal opinion but I did prefer the Paddywagon tours but this one was still quite nice. Though we had a lot of stops on our tour today our final destination was the Giant Causeway which I will say might have been the most surreal place I have visited in Ireland so far. The tour was nice though because we did get to see a ton of stops on our way.\u00a0 Which included Carrick of Fergus, a view of the giant rope bridge, Dunluce Castle and our final stop the Giant Causeway. I will say I was a little disappointed by the communication with this company. They did not tell us the Carrickfergus Castle was closed on Monday and they did not cover our admission for Dunluce Castle, so I was not super thrilled about that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I will say though I was pleasantly surprised by the beauty of the Dunluce Castle and the paying the admission was definitely worth it. The castle was right at the edge of a cliff on the water and had the most beautiful outlook of the cliffs beside it. The castle was partially destroyed so seeing part of the ruins and the rooms that what once been rooms was really cool. Would be the perfect spot for some wedding pictures.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Giant Causeway though was just so insane. It was formed by a volcano that explored and when the lava dried it created these hexagon looking stepping stones that lead done into the water. We got to to a walk across the top of the cliffs overlooking the Causeway and then got to actually go down and step on the cooled lava rock beneath the water. It was such a privilege to be surrounded by so many wonders all in one location.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
