May 9th: Day Four
Today we had a free day, so me and Kira headed back to the shops near Stephens Green with Ash, E, and Alex. We explored the indoor shopping center, where we bought some souvenirs for our family, and I got a Starbucks refresher, which was Cool Lime, something we do not have back home. We also ventured back out into the outdoor shopping area, where got lunch at Subway, which was a lot better than it is in the US, and did some more shopping for souvenirs, and even got two new books at this bookstore we stopped at.

The books we bought are both by the same author, Holly Jackson, are called “a Good Girls Guide to Murder” and “Five Survive”. I also bought myself a green hat that says Dublin on it. Before walking back to the apartments, we stopped to watch a guy play some live music on the corner.
Later that evening, Kira and I had a concert at 3Arena. Twenty One Pilots was playing, which we bought our tickets very impulsively, but I am glad we did, because it was such a blast. It was my third time seeing them live, and Kira and I’s second time seeing them live together. We did have a few culture shocks at the concert though. The first was that we realized nobody at the concert was standing up, to which I later asked the lady next to me if it is normal for people not to stand at concerts here, and she said yes. Another was when the crowd would occasionally sing in a chant “Ole”.
