I Spit in Your General Direction

DAY 2! Everyone give it up for day two, the first official day of the trip. Am I posting this two days late, yes. I will talk about why in my Day 3 post. Stay Tuned!

To start the day, I got a Matcha and a raspberry jelly doughnut from this company called The Rolling Doughnut. It was an amazing doughnut and I kinda wanna go back. I went there with Paula, E, Max, and Alex.

Right down the street was a record and collectable shop. It was filled with all kinds of nerdy goodies. There was merch from bands that I like as well as other shows. I found a figure from my sister’s favorite show. Her birthday is on the 22nd, so I decided that it was going to be getting her gift there… later. We had a tour to get to!

We went on a walking tour of Dublin! That was our big, educational thing for the day. It did not feel as long as it was, in all honesty. I think that it was maybe three hours. I was super tuned in at the start. Our tour guide was amazing, he really knew how to keep an audience and how to tell a story. Something I learned from the tour was there are bullet holes in a lot of the older buildings in Dublin. It is crazy to think that there are more similarities between Dublin and our more historic cities like Gettysburg. Oh, I also learned that the windows are boarded up because there used to be a window tax? Go King George III, give us weird ass taxes.

Later, for Dinner, a group of us went to a small pub called O’Donoghue’s. Paula and I cider, it tasted so good! I also tried just a sip of Guinness. it… was bad, I did not like it.

When we left and started our trek home. A woman asked Paula and I for money. When we said we didn’t have anything, she tried to spit on me! full Hawk Twoa and all. Thankfully it missed me.
