Max’s first post.
Hello, my name is Maxwell and I will going to Ireland this summer with the Point Park University School of Communication international media class. With this trip simultaneously being my first instance of being outside the United States, and also my first time flying in roughly ten years, I am naturally very excited to go on this trip with my classmates.
This trip to me is an indispensable experience as a college student. It’s a opportunity to not only internationally travel but also to learn from a foreign and eclectic range of media, making me more proficient at both comprehending and producing media.
I am excited to experience the culture and to try new things. There is a plethora of activities I would like to participate in. From seeing Dublin Castle to visiting a local pub.
To me, travel is a quintessential step on the path of a young adult. To leave the paradigm that you are acclimated to an experience a foreign environment serves as an excellent opportunity to not only expand your knowledge, but to enhance yourself as a person.
