a walk in the park

day 9

an early start for our day at IFCO. at IFCO, they classify movies (and sometimes video games) for an Irish audience. we have a similar rating scale, but theirs consists of G, PG, 12A, 15A, 16, or 18. We watched an Irish short film that triggered me, So I started by day poorly.

It took me a few to calm down after we left. Alex, Jay and I went to try out a cafe together. I got a tasty wrap, but the burrito Alex got made me jealous. I did try it on a later date and it was so worth it, I kind of regretted getting the wrap because it came with mayonnaise. I do not like mayo.

looking for something to do later in the say, Alex and I took a walk to Phoenix Park. the walk to the park was longer that either of us expected. It was HOT that day. It was refreshing to see so much plant life in a city. Pittsburgh is so barren compared to Dublin. While we were there, I gave my best friend a call because they had recently woken up. We are already in different time zones, but being in another country was a lot. Alex and I caught up with them as we meandered around the park. we saw several sculptures and moments. this park had a lot more space than St. Stephen’s green. It felt a lot less crowded due to the vast paths and wide open grand areas.
