From hurling to history

The time we spent at the Epic museum was a really fantastic for my first museum

Experience in ireland. I really liked there history of sports section i got to learn about this one

Irish sport called Hurling. Hurling is a blend of lacrosse and field hockey, played with a wooden

stick called a hurley and a small leather ball called a sliotar the main objective of the game is to

score by trying to hit the sliotar through or over the goalpost. When i saw footage of Hurling

games on TV my eyes would be glued to the screen, the way the players would just mercilessly

beat on each remind be of a Hockey games back in the us which kinda tells me even with the

differences i’ve seen that Ireland has with the US they also have their similarities.

What i also liked about there museum was how high tech the museum i really liked how you

could just tap on most of the screens and they would tell you about important events in history

for instants like the great hunger. One section of the museum even had a little guessing game

about famous criminals throughout history. I also like their Eipc Passport that they gave me to

stamp every time i enter a new exhibit something that ill keep with me as a reminder of the

museum

My only wish was that i wanted to stay longer to see there titanic stuff but alas there is always

the next time I come to Dublin.
