Ewww Did We Kissed An Old Stone???

Let’s Hit The Road Baby!

It was the first of our free days, and Maddie, Ayden, and I decided (it was Maddie’s idea!) to take a tour bus to Blarney Castle, where we had the chance to kiss the famous Blarney Stone. We started early in the morning around 8 A.M. and headed to our first stop: the Rock of Cashel.

This was my first time going on a road trip outside of Dublin, and I was so hyped to be on the highway, taking in the beautiful Irish scenery. The Rock of Cashel quickly became one of my favorite places and it’s amazing that so many of these historic castles are still standing, allowing us to admire them while soaking in the landscape of Ireland.

Blarney Castle & Gardens

Last Stop: Blarney Castle. Not gonna lie, a lot of people back home recommended I visit Blarney Castle but I always told myself there was no way I’d kiss a stone that thousands of tourists had already kissed. But… I caved. I figured, hey, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience to be in Ireland, so why not? Honestly, I should’ve done a little more research beforehand to understand the real meaning behind kissing the Blarney Stone, but I just laughed it off and went for it. Afterward, I got to explore the beautiful gardens and even saw some farm animals which I love.

10/10 would totally recommend doing this with a group. Huge thanks to Maddie for inviting me to come along with you and Ayden on this unforgettable journey!

Cork City

Next stop: Cork City! Our tour took us into the lovely city of Cork, and honestly, it quickly became one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen. It reminded me so much of Venice, with its rivers and colorful houses, I was completely in awe. I really wished we had more than just an hour to explore, but unfortunately, we didn’t. Still, we made the most of it by visiting the famous English Market, where we all ate gourmet sausages topped with garlic aioli and grilled onions. Low-key, they were fire!. I’m definitely planning to come back someday to spend a full day exploring more of what Cork has to offer.
