Rise and shine,Yinzer!
In today’s blog post, I’ll be discuss the quick tour of the beautiful city of Dublin from Day 2 of our Dublin trip.
On Tuesday, we enjoyed a lovely walk around the city of Dublin with a wonderful tour guide who gave us a great overview of the founding of Ireland. We started at the corner of the street, where our tour guide told us about the origins of Dublin dating all the way back to the Vikings, who were among the first to land on the island. They settled in a place called Dubh Linn, meaning ‘Black Pool,’ which eventually became the Dublin.

We learned about Wolfe Tone and his brave actions, which helped spark the Irish Republic’s fight for independence from Great Britain. After that, we saw other fascinating artifacts and heard more stories about the city and the heroism behind it all.
After that, a group of us went out to explore the city on our own. We headed to Grafton Street, where we spent the day browsing shops and taking in the sights. Later, we stopped by a local pub and grabbed burgers for dinner, it was a great chance to get to know each other better and share stories. Before heading home to rest for the night, we snapped a quick selfie as a fun keepsake

I highly recommend booking a local tour guide to help you better understand the beautiful city of Dublin especially if it’s your first time in Ireland!
