Hello! My name is Sydney and I am a 2025 graduate from Point Park University! For the past 4 years I have been studying Public Relations and Advertising with a minor in Graphic Design.
To round off my studies I decided to join the School of Communications on the study abroad trip to Dublin, Ireland. I have never been to Ireland and going into this class I knew very little about the country and its culture. As this semester has progressed, I have learned quite a few things but I am excited to be immersed into the world in just 19 days!
Some fun facts about me before you get connected with me via blog:
- I have a 5-year-old orange tabby cat named Lutefisk who will be holding down my state-side affairs while I am abroad.
- I am from Raleigh, NC and moved to Pittsburgh for the last 4 years for college.
- I am most excited about the trip to Belfast as well as a potential addition of a Galway trip!
